1 Arrested In Connection With Violent McKeesport Home Invasion

MCKEESPORT (KDKA) – One man has been arrested in connection with a violent home invasion in McKeesport.

According to police, three people were shot inside a home in the 1500-block of Scott Street around 5:45 a.m. Sunday.

In addition to the gunshot wounds, a 34-year-old man and a 51-year-old woman were also suffering from stab wounds.

Both were transported to local hospitals and were last listed in critical condition.

The third shooting victim was treated and released from a local hospital.

During the course of their investigation, police determined 35-year-old Jerrod Buford was a suspect in the case.

Buford was arrested Sunday outside of Toledo, Ohio and will be extradited back to Pennsylvania.

Buford is facing a list of charges including, attempted homicide, aggravated assault, robbery and recklessly endangering another person.

Police determined two other suspects also entered the home. Names and descriptions of those other two suspects have not been released.
