Water Service Restored After Water Main Break In Yardley

YARDLEY, Pa.  (CBS) -- The water is back on for people in Yardley and Lower Makefield after a major water main break.

Officials say an eight-inch pipe burst late Sunday night along Oxford Road near Lakeview Drive in Yardley.

It caused widespread service disruptions.

Many homes were left with no water or low water pressure.

Crews worked through the night and service was restored around 4 a.m. Monday.
