Woman Stabbed Multiple Times In Norristown

NORRISTOWN, Pa. (CBS) -- Police are searching for the person who stabbed a woman multiple times overnight in Norristown, Montgomery County.

It happened shortly after 1 a.m. Saturday in the 600 block of West Lafayette Street.

Authorities say the woman was stabbed numerous times in the chest and arm.

She was airlifted to Penn Presbyterian Hospital in Philadelphia in unknown condition.

Investigators say they do not believe the victim knows her attacker.
