Woman Shot While Sitting Outside North Philadelphia Home

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police say a woman was shot and wounded overnight while sitting outside a home in North Philadelphia.

It happened around 3 a.m. Sunday in the 1100 block of Oakdale Street.

Police say a 32-year-old woman was sitting on the steps when a car pulled up and and someone opened fire.

The woman was shot three times, twice in the right thigh and once in the left thigh.

She was rushed to the hospital in stable condition.

Police were searching for the shooter.
