Wolf: Pa. To Continue To Receive Syrian Refugees Despite Paris Terrorist Attacks

HARRISBURG, Pa. (CBS) -- The governors of Michigan and Alabama have halted the resettlement of Syrian refugees, but Governor Wolf says Pennsylvania will not follow suit.
Governor Wolf says those responsible for the Paris terrorist attacks must be brought to justice.
But in a written statement released by his press office, Wolf says "families leaving Syria are trying to escape the same violence and unimaginable terror."
In the statement, the governor says Pennsylvania officials will continue to work with federal authorities to ensure that all individuals are properly screened.
Wolf's statement goes on to say he wants Pennsylvania to "continue to build on its rich history of accepting immigrants and refugees from around the world."
Wolf has also ordered flags over the state capitol and Commonwealth facilities to half-staff, and has decreed that the capitol be lit up in blue, red and white to honor victims of the Paris attacks.
