Wing Bowl Guest Ric Flair: 'I've Always Liked The Flyers'
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Ric Flair "WOO" has taken on a life of its own at Flyers game during their current nine-game winning streak.
And while some players and media members have expressed their displeasure in the fans "WOO"-ing, the fans love it. And the Flyers keep winning.
Props to Jake Voracek for calling out Flyers fans for absurd Ric Flair "Woo" cheers says "what are they 10 yrs old?". Sounds really stupid.

"I heard there was like 18 to 20 thousand people, scantily clad Wingettes!" Flair told the 94WIP Morning Show on Tuesday, talking about Wing Bowl. "I heard you're giving away 10,000 dollars so I may have to enter the contest. What the hell?"

Flair says he has heard about Flyers fans "WOO"-ing at the Wells Fargo Center during home games.
"I've always liked the Flyers," Flair said. "Yeah, I got to meet Bobby Clarke and those guys back in -- and Dave Schultz -- in the old days. I'm living in Atlanta right now. When I was in Charlotte I was a Hurricanes fan. Such a rich tradition and Philadelphia is a great sports town."
So how did the "WOO" start?
"Riding down the road drinking Miller Lite one night, listening to Jerry Lee Lewis going goodness gracious great balls of fire, woo!" Flair said. "1974."
