Wilmington Police Officer Faces Theft, Forgery Charges

WILMINGTON, DE (CBS) -- Authorities in Delaware have announced the indictment of a Wilmington Police Officer.

Patrolwoman Roberta Harlow is charged with multiple counts of Theft by False Pretense and one count of Forgery.

Police say the charges come after a nine month investigation involving a Delaware Beach rental property agreement.

The 40-year-old was arrested Tuesday and released on $12,000 unsecured bail.

Harlow, who's been a member of the department for nine years, has been suspended without pay.
