Will The Sixers Win Before The Warriors Lose?

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- As of Tuesday, November 17, the Sixers are 0-11 and the Warriors are 11-0. The Warriors are the only undefeated team in the league, while the Sixers are the only winless team left.

Something has got to give -- right?

PredictionMachine.com decided to dive in and try to figure out when the Warriors would lose. According to their numbers, the Warriors have a 3.8 percent chance of being 29-0 as of Christmas Day. Their chart indicates that the defending champs have a greater than 70 percent chance to win each of their games during that time period.

According to the numbers, the Sixers are actually projected to win a game which Prediction Machine says could come on December 1 against the Lakers.

The numbers say that the Sixers have an 81.8 percent chance of winning one of their next eight games while the Warriors have just a 75.6 percent chance of losing at least one game during that time period.

While the race to end the streak is really only one that the Sixers would want to win (because "winning" for the Warriors would mean losing a game), at this point, the Sixers can't be picky about their accomplishments on the court.
