Will Jury In Cosby Trial Hear From 1 Accuser Or 14?

NORRISTOWN, Pa. (CBS) -- Bill Cosby is due back in a Montgomery County courthouse as prosecutors will argue why they should be allowed to present more than a dozen women at trial, who allege the comedian also drugged and assaulted them.

Bill Cosby is charged with drugging and molesting a woman at his Cheltenham mansion in 2004.

Prosecutors say, during the investigation, about 50 women were interviewed with similar accusations against the comedian.

The Commonwealth is now asking to put 13 of those women on the stand at trial under what's called "Prior Bad Acts."

Prosecutors say the women's accounts will show "[Cosby], over the course of decades, intoxicated women in a signature fashion."

But Cosby's defense says the allegations are not similar enough to allow them at his trial, adding they're so vague, they were never reported to authorities, and happened so long ago that Cosby can't effectively present a defense to the claims.
