Wildwood Crest Bans Smoking On Beach

WILDWOOD CREST, N.J. (CBS) -- Smoking on the beach will no longer be allowed in Wildwood Crest this summer. The board of commissioners voted to eliminate all smoking areas on the beach.

The borough will also outlaw using marijuana products in public places like parks and recreational areas. Cannabis distributors will not be allowed within borough limits.

All of the changes go into effect on June 7.
