PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The popular Chhaya Cafe, on East Passyunk Avenue, has relocated two doors down from its previous location, into a larger spot.

"This opportunity came up for us to move a couple of doors down into a much bigger space, and it just seemed like the perfect thing to do," says owner Varnana Beuria (top photo).

After several delays, Beast & Ale is opening this coming week in Manayunk, at 4161 Main Street.

Owner Brian Sirhal says this is his fourth restaurant, and the first one that is not Mexican-themed.

Sirhal calls it a "greasy spoon," created with his childhood friend and business partner Tim Spinner.

Sirhal confesses that "Beast" was his high school nickname.

"So, when we were coming up with names, we're thinking, like, 'Beef and Ale,' and he said, 'Why don't we call it Beast & Ale?' "

.

And a regional restaurateur has opened his 15th restaurant, in Harrisburg, with his 16th and 17th on the way this fall, closer to Philadelphia.

Dave Magrogan has one Harvest Seasonal Grill and Wine Bar operating in Harrisburg, with another coming to the Moorestown Mall this fall.

"Most of the menu is under 500 calories.  The menu changes every season.  We use 75 local farmers to source the menu, and we use a fire grill for our steaks, chicken, poultry, and seafoods," he says.

But before the Moorestown opening, Magrogran has a Red Star Craft House coming to the Exton Square Mall.

"We'll have about 100 beers on tap, we'll have craft pizzas, and this beautiful, extensive, 300-square-foot patio."
