PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (CBS) -- University City Dining Days takes place in July, but they're holding a preview event on June 12th.
Lori Klein Brennan, of the University City District (top photo), says it'll be a celebration of tens.
"We are celebrating Dining Days' tenth anniversary this year," she tells What's Cooking, "and so we thought we would host a kickoff event. It's at The Porch, at 30th Street Station. It'll be $10 admission, you'll get ten tickets, which allows you ten tastes at some of our restaurants that are participating."

The former "Corner" restaurant, at 102 South 13th Street in center city, is now called "Mamou."
Chef Paul Martin explains that the owners changed it because they wanted a restaurant with a more distinct identity. He says the new menu is Louisiana-inspired.
"Mamou's a small town in Louisiana," he explains. "I grew up in Lafayette. Mamou is about 20 minutes north-northwest of Lafayette, in the heart of Cajun country."
Adds Martin: "Mamou -- Laissez les bons temps rouler!"

The fourth annual "Burger Brawl" takes place this Sunday, June 8th, in the Xfinity Live parking lot in South Philadelphia.
Burger Brawl founder Rob Wasserman says it's a fundraiser for Philadelphia schools.
----
"There's a celebrity judge component -- they'll taste all fifty burgers and decide which one wins," Wasserman says. "And then we'll have a People's Choice award."
Proceeds from the event go toward building computer labs in Philadelphia schools.
