What's Comes After Politics For Nutter? It Won't Be Meteorology

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- Mayor Nutter says after Tuesday's non-storm event, he has no interest in a new career as a meteorologist when he leaves office next year.

Mayor Nutter knows being a meteorologist is a tough job -- particularly when mayors and school administrators are relying on your forecast to make crucial decisions.

"You know, you're in these professions where your decisions can have a serious impact on folks," Nutter said. "And you get one wrong, and folks are looking at you like you have three heads."

So with Nutter now in his last year as Mayor, that led the tongue-in-cheek question, would he give weather forecasting a try?

"Uh... there's so many places I could go with a response to that," Nutter replied. "But, you know, I do... that's a tough job."

So he'll stick with a far easier career in politics.
