New Jersey Forest Service Says Illegal Campfire Sparked Mullica River Fire

WHARTON STATE FOREST, N.J. (CBS) -- Firefighters in South Jersey are making progress against the Wharton State Forest Mullica River Fire. The New Jersey Forest Service says the fire is almost contained.

They say the fire was sparked by an illegal campfire.

Officials say smoke may be visible for a while as firefighters continue their work, and that drivers in the area should be cautious.
