Teen, woman critically injured in shooting near West Philadelphia playground, police say

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A teenager and a 22-year-old woman were shot in West Philadelphia on Monday near the West Mill Creek Playground, police said.

The shooting happened in the area of the 5000 block of Ogden Street just before 4 p.m., according to police.

The 17-year-old was shot in the groin, abdomen and right leg and placed in critical condition at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, police said. 

The 22-year-old woman was shot in her right leg and placed in stable condition, according to police. 

No arrests have been made and the motive for the shooting is unclear, police said.
