Wells Fargo Employee Killed In Philadelphia Train Derailment

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The death of a Wells Fargo employee was confirmed in a statement from the company.

Wells Fargo released a statement on Wednesday evening:

"It is with great sadness that Wells Fargo confirms that Abid Gilani, a valued member of our commercial real estate division, has passed away. Our hearts go out to all those impacted by this tragedy. "

The derailment of Amtrak train 188 in Philadelphia Tuesday night left seven people dead and more than 200 injured.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
