Weekend Rain On The Way

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The sun was out in force Wednesday

But weekend rain is on the way.

A cold front swinging from the north

Will try to strike and move on forth;

But forward progress is no more

Thanks to high pressure just offshore.

As fronts converge the moisture flows

From south to north, and this will pose

A problem if you had some plans

to park yourself upon the sand.

While Thursday we will see some sun,

And Friday you could still have fun,

Clouds and showers will abound

On Saturday, and can be found

On Sunday too, I'm sad to say.

Weekend rain, just go away!
