PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- At the box office, Finding Dory is hunky dory.

The animated sequel to Finding Nemo was a runaway – okay, swim-away -- first-place finisher at the box office over the weekend.

The debuting smash hit featuring the lead voice of Ellen DeGeneres earned an estimated and astounding $136 million, setting the record for the biggest opening weekend in animation history.

Holdover sequels took the next two slots:

The Conjuring 2 was third with $16-million.

And Now You See Me 2 took fourth with $10-million.
