Week 3 DFS Advice

By Andrew Porter

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- There are a lot of desperate 0-2 teams. Nine, to be exact. I'm using those to my advantage.

Listen: Andrew Porter gives his Week 3 DFS advice

QB Plays (DraftKings prices)

Andrew Luck (7900): Desperate team, desperate QB, at Tennessee. He's just too good not to throw for 3+ TD's here.

Russell Wilson (7000): Desperate team at home vs. Chicago. All Seahawks here.

QB Tourney Play

Colin Kaepernick (6300): The 49ers are at the Cardinals, a team that has played in two track meets to begin the season. Kaep has put together a nice, sneaky fantasy start. Last week he was 33-46 with 335 yards and 2 TD's, albeit in garbage time. There could certainly be more garbage time Sunday, right?

Ps. Kaep has rushed for 41 and 51 yards respectively in the first two weeks. Free bonus points!

RB Plays

Joseph Randle (5100): Brandon Weeden at home vs. ATL = run the ball, control the clock. Randle (18 car Week 1, 16 car Week 2) is safe bet for 18+ touches.

Frank Gore (4500): Desperate player, desperate team at TEN. Everyone is out on Frank Gore, who will score at least 1 TD this week.

RB Tourney Plays

Devonta Freeman (4,600): Tevin Coleman is out with a rib injury, so Freeman is the guy here. And he catches balls.

LeGarrette Blount (4000): It's a Blount game! At home vs. the Jags, potential 2+ TD guy here.

WR Plays

Mike Evans (6600): Going back to Evans this week, who is finally healthy and off a pitch count. Not a great matchup at Houston, but with Austin Seferian-Jenkins out and for just $6,600, Evans' upside is No. 1 WR of the week good.

Donte Moncrief (4800): 6-46-1 in Week 1, 7-122-1 in Week 2 (in a 20-7 loss!). Moncrief has become the Colts' No. 2 option behind T.Y. Hilton (who is banged up) and the desperate Colts are going to pour it on the Titans. A nice stack option with Luck.

TE Plays

Jimmy Graham (5800): Graham is mad. The Seahawks are 0-2 and he wants the ball. They're going to give him the ball against the Bears. A perfect stack with Wilson.

Zach Ertz (3500): Last chance for Ertz. Eagles are desperate, Darrelle Revis and Antonio Cromartie on the outside. I'm going to guess, maybe hope, for an Ertz breakout game here.

Crockett Gilmore (3300): 5-88-2 last week on six targets. Clearly, the Ravens' No. 2 option in the passing game behind Steve Smith.

DEF Plays

Houston (3200): Jameis Winston vs. J.J. Watt. All the turnovers.

Cleveland (2900): He got lucky last week. Derek Carr is not good. The Raiders can't play well two weeks in a row. At Cleveland is a bad matchup.
