Wednesday's Child: Fuquan

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Seven-year-old Fuquan loves sports and wants to be an athlete when he grows up.

"I want to be a basketball player -- a big one!" he says.

And Fuquan says he'd love to play basketball with a permanent family, especially with a father.

"He'd take care of me, he'd love me. He won't let anybody take me," Fuquan says.

One thing is really important to Fuquan:  he wants to stay with his sister, Adrianna.   Gloria Hochman, of the National Adoption Center, based in Philadelphia, says these two depend on one another.

"Fuquan really counts on his sister," Hochman tells Wednesday's Child.  "He counts on her and hugs her and kisses her.  When they came into our studio, they were holding onto each other.  It's clear how much they care about each other."
