Website Ranks Philadelphia As One Of The 'Least Sexy' Cities In America
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia has award-winning restaurants, historic landmarks and entertainment, but according to a travel-dating website, it is considered one of the least sexy cities in America.
MissTravel.com says it investigated the cities with the most rejected trip offers to determine which towns are considered the "least sexy."
The City of Brotherly Love didn't top the least sexy list, that "honor" went to Tampa, Florida.
"Tampa might be a travel hub but it's usually just a stop for tourists continuing to nearby cities or hopping on cruise ships to enjoy more tropical locations," said Brandon Wade, founder and CEO of MissTravel.com. "Travel dating is about finding love in a new and exciting destination and there are much more romantic settings than Tampa."
Ninety-six percent of members rejected trips to Tampa, according to the site.
Philadelphia came in at number 10, with 77 percent of members denying trip offers.
