By Kathy Orr

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --  The giant, wet snow that has fallen across the Delaware Valley is changing over to rain in many areas. Warm air is expected to reach our NW suburbs by dawn changing the snow and ice to rain.

Perkasie, Pennsylvania has already picked up 5" of sloppy snow, Phoenixville 3", Mount Holly, NJ 2.2" West Chester 1.5" and Philadelphia 1".

Many area roads are snow covered and slick.

The precipitation will taper off between 8am and 11am. There may be one last period of snow and rain in the afternoon.

High temperatures are expected in the mid to upper 30's.

Take it slow if you have to go out early this morning!
