PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Today we start off with a good deal of sunshine, but clouds will quickly take over later this morning as a clipper-like system speeds across the eastern states.

A coating to as much as 2" is expected.

While this disturbance is carrying a decent amount of moisture, rainfall amounts will remain modest because of its quick pace. Precipitation will last through the evening commute, and end from west to east tonight between 10 PM and midnight depending on where you reside.

The next two days are bright and sunny, with a big temperature boost coming on Thursday!
