Seasonable temps Thursday in Philadelphia region, tracking rain before Mother's Day. Here's the forecast.
Widespread showers across the region overnight into early this morning have given way to just a few scattered showers and that will gradually clear out through mid-late morning. This will give way to increasing sunshine from west to east this afternoon as temperatures remain a little cooler than normal in the mid-60s.
We could see a few more passing showers again Thursday night into Friday morning, but the rain and the clouds will clear before sunrise Friday morning.
NEXT big weather changes
Sunshine remains the rule on Friday, and we are closer to normal with a high near 70.
The NEXT big change will be widespread showers returning to the area for the first half of the Mother's Day weekend. Showers and a few thunderstorms will be possible into Saturday afternoon.
The sunshine and warmth return for Mother's Day on Sunday, with highs forecast around 80 degrees Sunday afternoon. Most of the day will be dry, however, it does look like the chance of rain increases once again going into Sunday night.
