WEATHER: Halloween Forecast Will Be A Treat

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Good news for trick-or-treaters.

Wednesday's storm system will be long gone and dry and cooler weather will return for Halloween. Typical late October conditions return to the Delaware Valley on Friday and continue into the weekend. Outdoor plans for Halloween parades during the day and trick or treat conditions at night will be pleasant. Expect plenty of sunshine during the day on Saturday with high temperatures in the upper 50s. The dry weather continues at night with evening with evening temperatures in the low to mid 50s during trick or treat events.

Also this weekend, daylight saving time ends at 2 a.m. Sunday morning. Don't forget to turn your clocks back one hour as we go back into standard time. You gain an extra hour of sleep but it will get dark an hour earlier. Sunrise Sunday morning will be 6:29 a.m. and sunset will be at 4:59 p.m. Another good idea is to change the batteries on your smoke and CO detectors.
