Weather: Don't Expect Those Blue Skies To Return For A Few Days

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- After a near perfect day on Monday, the rest of the week will pale in comparison.

Temperatures will stay on the mild side Tuesday, but the blue skies of yesterday are a thing of the past. Don't expect them back for several days, either. The story for the remainder of the work week will be clouds and rounds of showers.

A virtually stationary frontal boundary is slowly beginning to sag south. Once it does, temperatures are going to take a significant dive. In fact, Wednesday's high will struggle to escape the upper 40s! This just two days after mid 70s. Those are the type of swings you can expect during the spring months.

After more damp days Wednesday and Thursday, a stronger front finally pushes east on Friday. Temperatures will also surge in the other direction, returning to the 70s. Rain and a few thunderstorms will impact the region Friday into Saturday morning, before skies finally begin to clear in time for the weekend.
