Weather Blog: Yesterday's Storms Moved On, But We're In For A Mixed-Bag Sort Of Day

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- The same cold front that triggered the showers and thunderstorms on Monday evening will remain with us on Tuesday.

However, don't expect to see anything close to the severity of yesterday's storms. Mostly cloudy skies will actually give way to some sunshine my the mid afternoon, but there will also be the threat of a scattered shower or thunderstorm, making it a mixed-bag sort of day.

It will be a warm day, with highs in the low to mid 80s.

Conditions clear out starting this evening as high pressure begins to settle in, setting us up for a sunny, steamy couple of days ahead.

Wednesday will be a great day, again on the warm side with highs in the mid 80s.

Temps will soar even higher later this week, flirting with 90 both Thursday and Friday.
