WEATHER BLOG: Warmer & More Humid This Week

By Justin Drabick

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- After a very pleasant weekend with high temperatures and low humidity, the work week will be much warmer with more humidity.

Easterly wind flow keep high temperatures near average over the weekend, but a southerly wind will return this week bringing in warmer temperatures and more humidity.

Monday's highs will return above average in the low 80s with mostly sunny skies.

A more humid and uncomfortable air mass settles in on Tuesday with high temperatures in the mid 80s.  The warm and humid air will help fuel some showers and storms during the afternoon and evening.

The threat for an afternoon shower or storm will continue on Wednesday and Thursday as a cold front lingers near the Delaware Valley.

Lower humidity levels will return on Friday and for the weekend with highs near average in the lower 80s.
