WEATHER BLOG: Sunday Showers

By Justin Drabick

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The rest of the weekend will not be a washout, but the threat of some showers will continue in the forecast.  You can blame that on a frontal boundary, as it is stalled just off the coast.  As long as it stays there, there will be the chance for some showers.

A round of steadier showers is possible very early on Sunday morning, especially across south Jersey and Delaware.  During the afternoon, there will be chances of scattered showers across the region.  Skies will again remain mostly cloudy, keeping high temperatures below average in the low 80s inland and in the 70s at the mountains and the shore.

On Monday, the front will begin to move eastward allowing for drier conditions to return.  Expect more sunshine with high temperatures warmer in the mid 80s.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend!
