WEATHER BLOG: Pleasant Finish to the Weekend

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- The Delaware Valley is experiencing another weekend with a pleasant air mass as a high pressure system remains in place.

High temperatures were right near average on Saturday in the mid to upper 80s.  Dew point temperatures, which measure the moisture content in the air will remain low in the 50s.  This means a dry air mass with low humidity.

Sunday will be a repeat of Saturday with sunshine, low humidity and highs in the mid 80s again.

The work week will start off warm with comfortable conditions on Monday. A return to heat and humidity arrives on Tuesday.

Highs on Tuesday will reach near 90 and into the low 90s on Wednesday.  Along with the heat and humidity will be the chance for some scattered thunderstorms, especially on Wednesday.

Sunday – Sunny High  86.

Poconos:

Sunday - Mostly Sunny. High 80.

Shore:

Sunday- Mostly Sunny and Nice. High 79.
