WEATHER: A Good Day To Work Up A Sweat...But Not For Your Hair!

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Tuesday is going to be a hot, steamy, summery day. It's already warm across much of the region this morning, and afternoon high temperatures are expected to reach 90 in Philadelphia. Factor in that humidity, and you get that oppressive, summertime feel. It's a good day for sweat, but not for your hair. Other than a pop up shower north and west of the city this afternoon, it will be a dry day with partly sunny skies.
The humidity ramps up even more on Wednesday, which will make it feel downright oppressive at times. Sun will quickly give way to clouds as a cold front approaches from the west, bringing showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon. Behind that front, the humidity will slowly drop by the end of the week.
