Water Main Break Snarls Traffic In Overbrook

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Chopper 3 over the scene of a water main break in Philadelphia's Overbrook neighborhood.

It was reported shortly after 5 p.m. Monday near 63rd Street and Jefferson Avenue.

The Philadelphia Water Department says crews have shut down a 20-inch break in a transmission main.

SEPTA says trolleys are only traveling as far as 52nd Street westbound and shuttle buses are being brought in to help.

Drivers should avoid the area as crews remain on the scene.

There are no reports of property damage at this time.
