Deptford Mall Reopens Following Water Main Break

DEPTFORD, NJ (CBS) -- Officials say the Deptford Mall has reopened for business on Thursday after a water main break forced it to temporarily close while crews made repairs.

Officials say the break happened during a replacement of an exterior fire hydrant around 1 p.m. Thursday.

The mall did not sustain any major damage and no one was injured.

Officials say in order to repair the system,  the mall's water had been turned off and it was temporarily closed.

Just before 5 p.m., mall officials announced the Deptford Mall has reopened for business and will operate regular mall hours.  Officials say individual retailer operating hours may vary.
