Southampton Road Reopens Following Water Main Break In Northeast Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A water main break forced a road closure for several hours Tuesday in Northeast Philadelphia.

The break occurred around 1 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.

The 12-inch water main break shut down Southampton Road from the Roosevelt Boulevard to McNulty Road.

Shortly before 10:30 p.m., the Philadelphia Water Department said they completed their work and Southampton Road is now open to traffic in both directions.
