Water Main Break Closes Portion Of Ridge Avenue In East Falls

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Crews continue to work on a water main break in East Falls Friday afternoon.
The break happened just after 1 a.m. near Ridge Avenue and West Allegheny Avenue.

Ridge Avenue is blocked in both directions from West Clearfield Street to Roosevelt Boulevard.

Multiple water mains are shut down due to the break. The 3500 block of Clearfield Street, the 3500 block of Scotts Lane and the 4000 block of Ridge Avenue are without water while crews work to make repairs.
No word on when the road will reopen.
