WATCH: Malcolm Jenkins Picks Off Cousins, Takes It To The House

The Eagles defense has been one of the better units in the league through the first five weeks of the season. However, in the first half today against the Redskins, they got off to a bit of a slow start. They forced punts on the 'Skins first two drives before allowing Washington to go on drives of 70 and 90 yards on their next two possessions that both ended in touchdowns.

After the team got a boost from a big special teams play by Wendell Smallwood, who took a kickoff 86 yards for a touchdown, the Birds defense got back to their old ways. Safety Malcolm Jenkins read quarterback Kirk Cousins' eyes and cut in front of the receiver for an interception and just for good measure, took it back for a touchdown.

That touchdown tied the game at 14. Both Eagles scores have been non-offensive touchdowns.
