Untreated Wastewater May Be Turning Dogs Blue

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Untreated wastewater may be causing dogs in India to change color.

1,000 Animals Found At Illegal Boarding Facility

Stray dogs in the Mumbai area have been turning blue after reportedly wading into contaminated water.

The dogs may be drinking the runoff from dye-manufacturing factories, which then exposes the dogs to the dye's chemicals.
