Driver Killed After Crashing Into Tree In East Germantown

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A driver was killed after crashing into a tree in East Germantown, Friday morning.
It happened in the 1300 block of East Washington Lane, just before 8 a.m.
Police say a 50-year-old female driver crashed her 2004 GMC Envoy into a tree.
She was pronounced dead on scene.
No word on what caused the crash.
