Voters To Head To The Polls Tuesday For Delaware State Primary

NEWARK, Del., (CBS) -- The polls will open Tuesday for a primary election in Delaware.

Republican candidates Carl Smink and Kevin Wade are battling for the U.S. Senate nomination.

The winner will take on incumbent Democrat Chris Coons in the November general election.

The race for State Treasurer is between Republican candiates Cheryl Valenzuela and Ken Simpler.

The winner of that primary will face Democrat Sean Barney.

Polls open Tuesday from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m.
