Violent Night Leaves Two Dead, Four Wounded

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A violent night in Philadelphia leaves two people dead and four people wounded.

One of the victims, a 49-year-old man, was killed when police say he was stabbed in the chest on Aspen Street in the Manuta section of the city around 2am Sunday morning.

Around the same time in Logan, police say a 29-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds was found lying on the street outside of Einstein Hospital. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police also say four separate shootings in North Philadelphia left three men stable and one woman in critical condition.  The 24-year-old woman was shot 5 times, before being transported to Temple University Hospital.

No arrests have been made in any of these incidents.
