PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Lasagna, the chubby cat who needed a home, now has a new family. The 29-pound cat has been adopted by the Hammer family of Vineland, New Jersey, who will help her get to a healthy weight.
Lasagna was abandoned outside ACCT Philly's shelter on Sunday.
Pictures of Lasagna spread like wildfire on social media and got international coverage.
More than 100 people from around the country offered to adopt her.
