Police: Several Critical After 3 Vehicle Accident Involving Tractor Trailer In Vineland

VINELAND, N.J. (CBS) -- Authorities in New Jersey are investigating an accident that left several people critical injured on Thursday afternoon.

Police say that just after 5:00 p.m., a three vehicle accident took place in the northbound lanes of Route 55 near mile marker 35 in Vineland.

Authorities say two commercial vehicles (a dump truck and tractor trailer) and a third vehicle were involved. The incident left the tractor trailer on fire.

All northbound lanes were shutdown on Route 55.
