Villanova Ranked No. 1 For First Time Ever In Regular Season

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Villanova Wildcats are the No. 1 team in college basketball.

For the first time in school history, Villanova (20-3, 10-1) is ranked as the nation's best team in the AP Poll during the regular season.

Next up for Villanova is Depaul, Tuesday night at 8:30 p.m.

Maryland, Oklahoma, Xavier, and Iowa round out the top-five.
