VIDEO: Thief Steals Snow Blower, Other Tools From Philly Home

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are searching for a suspect who stole $1,600 in items, including a snow blower, from a home in Philadelphia.

The theft happened at about 4 p.m. on February 14th at a home in the 100 block of West Jefferson Street.

According to investigators, the suspect, who was captured on surveillance video, entered the home through an open garage door.

Once inside, the suspect took a snow blower, a power washer, a tool kit and two heaters with propane, totaling $1,600.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 30 years-of-age, with a stocky build. He was wearing a blue hat with red tip and a white design on the front, a black jacket and black pants.

Anyone with information on the suspect is urged to call 911.
