Video: Poker Player Eliminated In $1 Million Buy-in Tourney On Horrid Bad Beat

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- It was an unique $1 million buy-in World Series of Poker tournament, where  $15,306,688 went to the winner. That's not a typo. That's a lot of money.

There were 18 players left in the tournament when both Connor Drinan and Cary Katz were dealt rockets---or pocket aces. Eventually, Drinan's aces were all-in against Katz's aces. 98-percent of these situations end in a split, but not this one.

Drinan was eliminated by Katz, who received runner-runner hearts for what announcer Lon McEachern called, "the worst beat in the history of tournament poker."
