Video Highlights: Flyers Beat Pens In 'Game Of The Year'

By Andrew Porter

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- It has been a rather stale season for the 19-22-7 Philadelphia Flyers. However, on Tuesday night, the Flyers beat the Penguins 3-2 in overtime, in what NBC hockey analyst and 94WIP Morning Show co-host Keith Jones called the game of the year.

"Best game of the season," Jones said on Wednesday morning. "It was on NBCSN and we were lucky it was on. By far, the best game that we've seen."

The game featured an ejection to Flyers foward Zac Rinaldo for a controversial hit, a fight from the Flyers leading-scorer Jake Voracek, a stifled Sidney Crosby, and an overtime goal from Flyers captain Claude Giroux.
