UPS Opening Distribution Site In Northeast Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- UPS says it will open a distribution site on Red Lion Road in Northeast Philadelphia. The 1 million-square-foot sorting facility will open in 2022 and will be located at the site of the former Budd Plant.
Work on the warehouse is expected to begin late this year or early 2021.
A series of community meetings are planned for residents to voice their concerns.
