UPenn Student Claire Sliney's Film Wins Oscar For Best Documentary Short Subject

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - It was a big moment at the Oscars for University of Pennsylvania sophomore, Claire Sliney.

Sliney's film, "Period. End of sentence." won for best documentary short subject.

Sliney was a producer on the film and started working on the human rights project when she was a freshman in high school.

Claire Sliney can be seen on the far left, accepting an academy award.

The film aims to take away the stigma of periods for girls in developing countries.
