UPDATE: Haddonfield Police Announce Arrest In Rash Of Break-Ins

HADDONFIELD, N.J. (CBS) --  Police have announced an arrest in connection with a rash of home break-ins that occurred last week in Haddonfield.

The news was posted on the police department's official Facebook page.

Detectives say forensic evidence links 18-year-old Tyree Taylor, of Camden, to the crimes.

Taylor has been charged with two counts of burglary and one count of attempted burglary and conspiracy.

The teenager has been remanded to Camden County jail without bail as a violation of his probation.

Police said sometime between midnight and 4 am on November 19th, three homes were burglarized.

In each case, the residents were in bed at the time and didn't know an intruder was inside their homes until they discovered items missing.

The suspect was able to enter the homes through unlocked windows or doors.

Police say the suspect attempted to burglarize four additional houses in the area, but they were all locked.
