Jordan Fromm - Shutouts For Kids

Jordan Fromm is a senior at Chestnut Hill Academy and plays goalie for their hockey team. Fromm, however, does much more than just play hockey---he plays hockey to raise money for charity.

Fromm's charity, Shutouts For Kids, raises money for the Ed Snider Youth Hockey Foundation and Make-A-Wish Foundation.

"So I'm a goalie and the charity has levels," Fromm explained to Michael Barkann and Ike Reese on the 94WIP Mike & Ike Show. "There are six levels. Five of the donation levels are an initial payment, plus money for shutout, and the sixth level is just up-front money the donor can chose the amount they would like to pay. I get a lot of money off initial payments and then I get some of the money for every shutout I get during the ice hockey season."

"Shutouts For Kids is entering it's sixth season this year and we've raised over 60,000 dollars," Fromm said.
